At Home Series - Upper Body Workout

Upper Body Workout

No gym membership? No worries! Whether it is by choice or circumstance you too can enjoy the benefits of resistance training without having to commit to ongoing gym membership costs or sweaty benches.

The “At Home” series will comprise of a range of workouts which target your entire body from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a fit ball and a set of dumbbells. Both of which can be purchased at any leading healthy or fitness store for under a total cost of under $50 which a great investment is considering the health and lifestyle improvements you can make by incorporating resistance training into your exercise regime.

Note: Facial expressions as demonstrated are not required for a great workout :)

Warmup

·         5 minutes Warm up on walking, jump rope, bike or similar.

Resistance Workout

HIIT Session to Finish

·         30 seconds of High Intensity Effort

·         60 seconds of Rest

·         Repeat 6-8  times for a total workout time of 12 minutes

Stretch

·         2-3 Upper Body Stretches

·         Repeated 2-3 times per stretch

·         Hold for 20-30 seconds each
